Apple has seeded the latest iterations of betas for watchOS 3.1 and tvOS 10.0.1 to developers.
The new software is a minor fix, focusing on behind-the-scenes tweaks and attunemenets. The first beta for both platforms was released in late September, so it’s likely that the betas will release on a semi-regular schedule from this point on, until the official release to the public later this year.
To download the watchOS 3.1 beta 2, you’ll need to have your Apple Watch connected to an iPhone, the wearable must have a battery charge of at least 50%, and it must be charging. You can initiate the installation from the Apple Watch app.
To install tvOS 10.0.1, Apple TV 4 owners, which are registered as a developer, will have to have the Apple TV plugged into a computer via the USB-C to USB-A cable. The software will need to be installed via iTunes, or through the Apple Configurator. Once that software is installed, subsequent beta seeds will be available as an OTA update.
