With the Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus already unveiled and launched, eyes are already firmly focused on the manufacturer’s next high-end device. That would be the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Previously leaked live images revealed that the Mi Note 2 would carry a dual-curved edge screen. But that was back in August. We are now in October, and the phone is expected to launch next month. So what does the latest leak reveal?
Published on Weibo, we are happy to note (did we intend that pun?) that these live photos also show the dual-curved edge screen spotted on the previously leaked live image of the handset. We could see a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution, employing Force Touch. Under the hood you’ll find the Snapdragon 821 SoC with a quad-core 2.4GHz CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB/8GB of RAM is inside with 128GB/256GB of flash memory.
A dual-camera setup on back will consist of a pair of 16MP snappers, with a 5MP camera in front to shoot selfies and video chats. A 4000mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Quick Charge will rapidly fill up the juicer. We could see Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded under the screen.
As usual, we expect to see the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 priced enticingly by the company.
