Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced on his Weibo page today that the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is in mass production. The phone is expected to be released in mid-November with two-different variations to be offered. One will feature an LG curved dual-edge screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The other version carries a flat 5.15-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution.
The two models will each be driven by the Snapdragon 821 chipset, carrying a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. One unit will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The other model carries 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. One of the two units is said to include dual 12MP cameras on back. The other phone will have a single camera with OIS.
We still have about five to six weeks before the Mi Note 2 is launched, so we could see more leaks ahead. Of course, the posts from CEO Lei Jun carry a lot more weight. If you’re interested in this phone, feel free to check in often.
