Well, folks, for better or for worse, the rumors were true, the leaks were on point, and the Google Pixel phones are exactly what we expected them to be, from the weird half-glass back to the super-charged hardware inside. Of course, the phone is also Daydream ready, so VR buffs should have a fun time with it.
Of course, it has a lot more going for it — the first phone to have Android 7.1 Nougat, the first phone with the Google Assistant on it, the first one with that cool new Pixel Launcher. And it also misses some stuff that its contemporary competitors have — like water-resistance. Still, it’s priced like any other manufacturer’s flagship. And the question is — are you going to bite?
